Behind the Scenes

Over 60 voices have been involved in this production.

From seasoned pros to those who have never set foot on a stage before.

Christmas is community.

That's what Dickens wanted us to believe anyway and so that's what we've attempted to do this Christmas by partnering with local residents, groups, organisations and professional artists to bring a NE identity and community to his classic " A Christmas Carol ".

Starting in October 2022, we ran two adult acting classes in Torry and in Powis. These free classes ran for 5 weeks and brought over 30 people together to connect through creativity. Many of the voices you hear in this production are participants from these classes.
